Take a seat, enjoy our amuse-bouche, the sandwiches, the special butter and make a choice from our extensive menu, where half of it consists of vegetables. Lots of small dishes, so you can taste everything! We even have a separate chapter on the menu for the real BBQ lovers. Of course, the classics, such as our spareribs “The Original” are still there; a dish that will never go away!

Arne is Ron Gastrobar’s chef. Arne helps to devise and perfect new dishes, until it really suits Ron Gastrobar. That’s why you have to go to him to ask what you really should taste when you eat at Ron Gastrobar.
“The Dutch red mullet comes from our own North Sea and gives me a summery feeling every year. We serve it with creamy bouillabaisse and a salad of ‘Opperdoezer Ronde’ and samphire. Everything comes from our own country, which of course makes it special. But what makes it perhaps even more special is the taste of the barbecued samphire and dried tomato powder that we sprinkle over the mullet.
